Board Rules

The Main Part

1). Accounts

Users are only permitted one account. If you want a new username then use your Preferences to request a name change.

2). Avatar & Signature

Avatars are automatically sized to 150x190 px but the upload size restriction is 200 kb, we recomend you use an external image file host (ie: imageshack.us, photobucket.com and tinypic.com etc). Signatures must be a reasonable size if you want more use the spoiler BBcode.

3). Posting Videos and Images

All images if larger than board width must be placed within a spoiler BBcode tag and must not break the rules in point 4 (below); videos must note exceed the width either nor must it be irrelivant to the topic, to add on further DO NOT post a video or flash object which can crash or mess with hardware (point 4, sub point 3)

4). Prohibited Content

You may not post, upload, link to, or e-mail any content that contains, promotes, instructs about, or provides prohibited content of the like listed below:

* 1. Content that infringes upon any rights [ex. MP3s and ROMs] (including, but not limited to, copyrights and trademarks)

* 2. Abusive, threatening, defamatory, racist, or obscene

* 3. Viruses or any other harmful computer software

* 4. False Information or libel

* 5. Spam, chain letters, or Pyramid schemes

* 6. Gambling or Illicit drugs

* 7. Terrorism

* 8. Hacking or cheating for Internet/online games

* 9. Warez, Roms, CD-Keys, Cracks, Passwords, or Serial Numbers

* 10. Pornography, nudity, or sexual material of any kind

* 11. Excessive profanity

* 12. Invasive of privacy or impersonation of any person/entity

* 13. Hacking materials or information.

Respect & Consideration

1). Flaming

Lacking respect for other users (including belittling comments, derogatory words, and the like) are considered to be flaming will result in a 7 day suspension.

2). Staff Deference

Personal attacks of Staff members will not be tolerated and will result in a 7 day suspension or Perminant Ban. Complaints about Staff should be directed to an Administrator's Inbox and are not to be posted. Topics of that nature will be trashed.

3). Spamming

Spamming within topics is prohibited. This includes unnecessary posts, duplicate posts (where information is re-posted after it has already been stated), minimal responses (eg. 'lol', an emoticon, or responses that have no obvious thought) and off topic posts.<br>
Spamming will incur a 7 day moderation queue.

Continuing to Spam and gaining yourself more than 50% warning you will be banned for 7 days, if you continue your IP will be bloacked from our servers.

4). Private Messages

Private messages are just that: private. The posting of private messages recieved on this board is strictly prohibited. If you're sent a PM that you feel breaks a rule you may forward the PM onto a staff member.

ANY STAFF MEMBER DEALING WITH ISSUES BEFORE ENFORCING A BAN CONTACT AN ADMINISTRATOR FOR VARIFICATION IF YOUR UNSURE, UNLESS ITS SOMETHING WHICH IS AN OBVIOUS
RULE BREAK.

Consiquences

1). Bypassing Punishment

Users bypassing their suspension and/or other punishments will have their aforementioned punishment doubled or you will face a perm ban.

2). Explanation

Users are permitted to contact an Administrator by use of the PM System (not within a public forum) about their punishment unless its a perm ban where you will be ripped of all your righhts on the board.

3). Punishment Finality

All punishments (warns, mod queues, post disabling, suspensions, and bans) are final. Those reregistering after having been banned will be banned once again. Lowering of warning levels is not guaranteed, and is examined cases by case. Users are not to request that staff lower it unless it was my mistake or was done without confirmation by an administrator.

4). Restricted Access

Members breaking rules or taking advantage of certain board features will find themselves in a restricted group.

Extra Information

1). Name Changes

Members:

* 50+ Posts

* Must have a 10% or less warn level.

* Can change their name at anytime from join date but 6 months there after.

* The New name must abide by our Terms Of Service.

* Must wait an additional 6 months before you can request another name change (*3).

All Staff:

* 100+ Posts

* Can change their name at anytime from join date but 6 months there after.

* The New name must abide by our Terms Of Service.

* Must wait an additional 6 months before you can request another name change (*3).

Staff must check if the user already has changed their name and making sure its within the allowed time range for that user group.
